These lidded bowls are used at Charlie Palmer’s Dry Creek Kitchen in Healdsburg, CA. The pieces are made of a clay that incorporates porcelain to create a smooth texture and the warm, off-white color.

They are multifunctional. The bowls can be used individually and when turned upside down can be platforms to literally elevate food. The lids can also be used upside down as appetizer plates.

Together, the bowls can be stacked, with or without a lid.

All of the pieces are thrown on the pottery wheel, trimmed, and then carved by hand. Only the interiors are coated in a clear glossy glaze. The exterior is unglazed to highlight the carved design.

Food, dishwasher and microwave safe.
